These new regulations will:

Hurt rental property owners who need to move into their own property should they lose their job, be relocated, or need to downsize. These owners can’t move into their property without waiting at least four months and paying thousands of dollars.

Put local housing providers out of business, leaving big corporations to take their place.

Allow large-scale investors to replace mom-and-pop housing providers, leading to fewer renovations and lower quality units for renters.
